Louisville WR Beaumont taken off on stretcher (AP via Yahoo! Sports)
Louisville wide receiver Doug Beaumont was taken off the field on a stretcher after a vicious collision during the third quarter of Friday’s 34-14 loss to Rutgers. The junior was stretching out to catch a pass when he was hit by Rutgers safety Zaire Kitchen. Beaumont was bent back awkwardly and lay motionless on the field for several minutes.
